Parnell Staff
Camp Parnell was one of the original Boy Scout resident camps of Boxwell. Opened in 1960, it ran concurrently with Stahlman throughout the 1960s and into the early 1970s. Shortly after Camp Craig's opening, Parnell began a rotation that continued until its last summer in 1998. Parnell has perhaps the perfect layout of all the camps with the dining hall on a small hill and the rest of the camp circling around it. For years, it was the home of great program directors like Jimmy Joe Jackson, Steve Eubank, and Jerry Barnett.
Of course, if you're a Parnell staff member, you know all this already. Thus, take this opportunity to check out our collection of staff photos and directors listings. If you have a photo we don't or we have some directors information incorrect, let us know.
